Ir. Mohd Zaini Abdullah
Chief Executive Officer

Ir. Mohd Zaini Abdullah is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of System Protection & Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. (SPM). He is responsible to provide the leadership to drive SPM as a high performance engineering based organization that is responsible to translate the company's vision into action.

From 1972 to 1982, Ir. Mohd Zaini was an Engineer in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). He was responsible for maintenance and commissioning of power line carrier equipment as well as relay protection and control systems within TNB substation and power stations up to 275kV. In later stages of his career in TNB, he was also responsible for recommending and purchasing of equipments and materials for TNB then.

Prior to his appointment in SPM, he was the Technical Manager (1982-1984) of Perwaja Terengganu and responsible for engineering & construction of Perwaja Terengganu Steel in Kemaman. He was also involved in overseeing and management of construction by Nippon Steel Corporation, Japan.

Ir. Mohd Zaini holds Bachelor's (Honours) Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (MIEM), Board of Engineers Malaysia (Professional Engineer) and has been awarded with the Certificate of Competency from Jabatan Bekalan Elektrik & Gas Malaysia.
