Norman Awalludin
Executive Director (General Affairs & Other Services)

Engr. Norman Awalludin joined System Protection and Maintenance Sdn Bhd in June 2003. He is registered Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia and Institution of Engineers Malaysia. He is currently being appointed as Executive Director of System Protection & Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. He is responsible for the support groups within SPM besides overseeing the operation of subsidiaries, Testcom Services Sdn Bhd (TCS) and Transformer Oil Lab & Services Sdn Bhd (TOLS)

His career started in January 2000 after his completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering on August 1999 from University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, USA. He started off as a Design Engineer in PJVM (M) Sdn Bhd, Shah Alam and Sony Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Bangi. In April 2002, he served the Malaysian Government under Malaysian Nuclear Agency as Research Office for one year.

His initial involvement in SPM was as Project Engineer in T&D Department and later became Project Manager to handle a few High Voltage Transmission Substations in TNB and Petronas. In September 2007, he was appointed as Senior Manager of Testing and Commissioning Department to manage over 20 testing engineers and technicians. In Nov 2008, he was seconded to SPMKSA, one of SPM branch office located in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia as General Manager to look upon the business opportunity in KSA.

In June 2010, apart from being Executive Director of SPM, he was also given the responsibility as Managing Director of TCS and Director of TOLS.
