Founded in 1984, with a staff of two technicians and a small start up capital of RM40,000, SPM has grown into a sizeable business concern, with approximately 250 employees presently which 50 are qualified engineers. Beginning with the activity of 'testing and commissioning' services of an array of electrical equipment installation the business has evolved into a wider spectrum of the electrical power industry, which currently include construction of power plants, big and small, as well as turnkey construction and commissioning (EPCC) of transmission substations up to 500KV.

We are passionate over our mission to expand as demonstrated by our entry into the overseas markets especially into the rapidly growing Middle Eastern countries. In recent months efforts are made for exposure into an immediate neighboring country, in its electrical infrastructure development. As a standard practice, we are mindful of the associated risks in all our business ventures, hence shall remain prudent and exhaustive in our risk evaluation of projects to be undertaken to ensure optimum returns to our stakeholders. In pursuing businesses, as a rule, we take into account our social responsibilities to the environment and the well being of the public at large.
